Suite Hotel - Del Fabbro
A design retreat in the Dolomites
Just a few minutes from the snow-covered slopes of Madonna di Campiglio, Hotel Cristina welcomes its guests with a new addition: a design-led suite inspired by alpine traditions, conceived as a warm, enveloping, and functional space.

The undisputed protagonist of the project is natural wood, chosen for its lively grain and light tones, capable of conveying a sense of authentic warmth and continuity between indoor and outdoor environments. Walls, ceilings, and furnishings engage in a harmonious dialogue, transforming the room into a welcoming retreat where every detail has been carefully designed to enhance the guest experience.

One of the suite’s defining features is the perforated partition wall that separates the sleeping area from the rest of the space. Both aesthetic and functional, this element allows soft beams of light to filter through openings of varying sizes, creating evocative plays of light across the surfaces and contributing to an intimate, relaxing atmosphere.

The relaxation corner, conceived as a true cocoon of comfort, features a plush mattress set on a raised platform and framed by walls entirely clad in wood. The alternation of upholstered panels with contrasting textures adds depth and softness, making this area ideal for rest and quiet contemplation of the surrounding landscape.

Plasterboard ceiling drops were designed not only to conceal technical systems, but also to integrate a modern, diffused lighting scheme that enhances the tactile quality of the materials and further enriches the sense of warmth. The lime-based wall finish lends the room a natural, refined appearance while offering high resistance to wear, an essential feature in hospitality environments.
The perfect setting for a refined and immersive holiday experience, where thoughtful design meets the authentic beauty of the mountains.
