Kuno House - Del Fabbro

A beautiful residence named after the family dog, an inseparable companion who inspired the owners when christening their summer retreat. Set within a newly built contemporary structure, the villa overlooks Lake Garda with understated elegance. Its slightly elevated position enhances the surrounding landscape, while the outdoor pool and jacuzzi complete a setting of exceptional luxury and relaxation.

A balance of materials and furnishings

At the heart of the home lies the kitchen: a Modulnova design equipped with Miele appliances, finished in a matte lacquer in the warm beige tone “Tornabuoni.” The porcelain stoneware countertops blend seamlessly with a fully equipped peninsula, while darker, warmer cabinetry echoes the tones of the work surfaces, creating a refined and well-balanced contrast.

The integration of furnishings was a central theme throughout the project. Each piece was carefully selected and paired to dialogue with the existing elements, enhancing their aesthetic presence without ever overpowering them.

Light is the guiding thread of the entire design, an element capable of transforming spaces and defining the identity of each room. In the living area, a concealed cove detail diffuses indirect light, creating an atmosphere that feels both welcoming and sophisticated.

The staircase becomes a striking architectural feature thanks to integrated step lighting that highlights its modern structure. In the bedrooms and spa area, lighting by Wever & Ducré provides a soft, enveloping glow, fostering a sense of calm and relaxation.

Decorative lighting elements by Catellani & Smith and Cattelan Italia add distinctive accents, drawing the eye with luminous details and refined materials that give character to each space. Every room strikes a thoughtful balance between functionality and a visually impactful aesthetic, while maintaining a strong stylistic coherence throughout the home.

Kuno House is more than an interior design project, it is a statement of style. A clear example of how attention to detail, along with carefully chosen materials and furnishings, can transform a house into a refined retreat for everyday luxury.
