Alpine Penthouse - Del Fabbro

In the heart of the Dolomites, where the mountains rise majestically against the sky, this penthouse in Brunico redefines the concept of alpine luxury.

Every element of the interior has been conceived to create harmony and continuity. Wood takes center stage, expressed through matte lacquered surfaces that rhythmically define the spaces. At the entrance, vertical wooden slats form a soft, permeable division from the living area, evoking the lightness of a screen. A custom-made bench echoes this motif, anticipating the material rhythm that unfolds throughout the apartment.

The furnishings strike a refined balance between functionality and elegance. Dark Modulnova cabinetry, discreet yet monumental, integrates seamlessly with the kitchen: a Valcucine masterpiece in ultra-matte black laminate with Angelskin finish. Both the kitchen countertop and the fireplace bench, crafted in Nero Assoluto marble by a skilled artisan, lend a monolithic presence to the home’s convivial spaces.

Here, light does more than illuminate: it tells a story. A chandelier by Vibia and lighting elements by Davide Groppi, including the Infiniti and Flash models, shape the atmosphere with theatrical precision. Textured resin walls and ceilings enhance the interplay of reflections and shadows, enveloping the space in an aura that feels both essential and sophisticated.

The living area unfolds as a carefully balanced composition of social interaction and relaxation. In the dining area, a solid wood table by Riva1920 is paired with Vitra chairs and accompanied by a matching bench from the same brand.

Above, custom-crafted shelves echo the Riva wood, creating a dialogue of volumes that seamlessly connects with the surrounding architecture.

The bedrooms are intimate and cocooning, each featuring an en suite bathroom furnished with Modulnova’s essential solutions. In the master bedroom, a Saba bed, with its soft, inviting design, sets the tone for rest and comfort. In the guest room, a Gervasoni sofa bed is paired with a rope-covered trunk, a subtle nod to the family’s maritime roots. The theme of the sea gently weaves its way through materials and details, bringing a hint of salt air into the alpine landscape.

A place where design transcends aesthetics to become pure emotion: a narrative that embraces the soul of the Alps while carrying with it a quiet longing for the sea.
